She opened it because of her heritage as an Italian-American. The restaurant's take on classic Italian is hailed for being among the most compelling places to enjoy Italian food within Los Angeles. The restaurant serves delicious and consistent food at Scopa it is a local favorite. The patrons call it authentic and satisfying. Lofaso studied under the best chefs to master their techniques.
