Buring was born on 22 September 1979 in Sundsvall in Sweden as Anna Margaretha My Rantapaa. But, she was raised in the Middle East. She was a student at the American British Academy in Muscat, Oman, with her old friend Stegath Dorr, who is a character actor as well as a prolific horror film maker. Though she is adamant about keeping her private life secret however, the Swedish actress recently revealed that she gave birth in May 2017 to an infant boy.
